SAIL TURKEY / FETHIYE TO OLYMPOS 3 NIGHTS - 4 DAYS GULET CRUISE
Highlights
Overview
Sail Turkey on the elevated Fethiye to Olympos route, where turquoise swim stops meet sunset energy and open-water freedom.
From Butterfly Valley to the ruins of Olympos, this is a Turkey sailing holiday designed for young professionals who want adventure without chaos.
Premium gulets, en-suite cabins and full night A/C redefine what a social sail Turkey experience should feel like.
The Fethiye to Olympos sailing tour is one of the most in-demand routes along the Turkish coast — and for good reason. It blends dramatic scenery, swim-heavy days and lively coastal evenings into a compact, high-energy itinerary.
What makes this version different is the level of comfort and consistency built into the experience. While many Olympos boat trips focus purely on the social side, this Turkey sailing holiday delivers the same adventure, the same iconic stops, but with premium gulets, en-suite cabins and full night air-conditioning included as standard.
If you’re going to Sail Turkey on this legendary route, it makes sense to choose the option that offers more space, better comfort and a smoother onboard experience without paying more for it.
Departing from Fethiye, this route connects some of the most iconic highlights of the region: the vertical cliffs of Butterfly Valley, the electric blue waters of Ölüdeniz, the harbour life of Kaş, and the legendary Sunken City of Kekova. Over three nights, you’ll experience a condensed but high-impact Turkey boat holiday that blends swim stops, open-water cruising and evenings ashore.
Days are active and flexible. Optional paragliding above the Blue Lagoon, scuba diving in Kaş, swimming in protected bays and exploring Lycian ruins all form part of the rhythm. Evenings shift naturally from sunset drinks on deck to exploring harbour bars or the laid-back Olympos beach scene.
For those searching for Turkey sailing tours, something elevated, social and genuinely memorable. This Fethiye to Olympos route delivers everything you need.
Gulet Cruises offers Sail Turkey tours without sacrificing standards.

Itinerary
We meet at Fethiye Marina in the morning to complete boarding formalities, then step aboard the gulet to meet the crew and fellow travellers. After a short safety briefing, we head straight out along the coast.
Our first major stop is Butterfly Valley, framed by steep limestone cliffs that rise dramatically from the sea. You can swim ashore or take the 45-minute trail inland to reach the small waterfall tucked inside the gorge.
From there, we cruise to Ölüdeniz Blue Lagoon, one of the most recognisable bays in the region. Spend time swimming in its clear water while paragliders glide down from Mount Babadağ above. If you’re feeling bold, optional tandem paragliding can be arranged.
Later in the afternoon, we continue to St Nicholas Island (Gemiler Island). Try water sports, explore the Lycian ruins scattered across the hillside, and hike up in time for sunset views across the bay.
Overnight at anchor near St Nicholas Island.
We depart early from St Nicholas Island, cruising east along the Lycian coastline towards Aquarium Bay near Kalkan. Breakfast is served at anchor, followed by a swim in its clear, calm water. Best way to start the day on this Fethiye to Olympos sailing route.
By late morning, we enter Kaş Harbour, one of the most popular stops on any Turkey sailing journey along this coast. The afternoon is yours to shape: explore the amphitheatre overlooking the sea, wander through hillside streets lined with independent shops, or relax at a waterfront café.
For those wanting something more active, optional scuba diving in Kaş can be arranged. With excellent visibility and diverse underwater terrain, it’s one of the standout adventure add-ons of this Turkey sailing experience.
In the late afternoon, we sail to Limanağzı Bay, a sheltered cove just outside Kaş. Swim, snorkel or unwind on deck before dinner is served. Overnight at anchor beneath clear coastal skies.
After breakfast, we cruise into the protected waters of Kekova, home to the well-known Sunken City. From the deck, you can clearly see sections of ancient walls and foundations beneath the surface, remnants of a Lycian settlement partially submerged by an earthquake centuries ago. Swimming directly over the ruins is not permitted due to heritage protection, but we anchor nearby for a time in equally clear water.
Across the channel lies Kaleköy (ancient Simena), accessible only by boat. You can walk up to the hilltop castle for wide views over the Kekova region, passing stone houses and scattered Lycian sarcophagi along the way. A stop for homemade ice cream at the waterfront café is almost a ritual here.
In the afternoon, we continue to Gökkaya Bay, one of the most sheltered anchorages on this Fethiye to Olympos sailing route. The area is known for calm swimming conditions and occasional sightings of loggerhead turtles.
After dinner onboard, the evening is flexible. Relax on deck under the stars or take a short boat ride to Smugglers Inn for music and late-night energy before returning to the yacht.
Overnight in Gökkaya Bay.
The final morning begins slowly in Gökkaya Bay, with breakfast on deck and time for one last swim in clear, calm water before departure.
By late morning, we dock at Çayagzi near Demre, marking the end of this Fethiye to Olympos sailing experience. From here, a complimentary transfer is available to your selected treehouse accommodation in Olympos (approximately 90 minutes by road).
Alternatively, we can drop you at Demre bus station for onward travel. Regular services operate to Antalya, with additional connections to Kaş and Fethiye throughout the day.

It's my second year doing a sailing cruise with Gulet Cruises and I absolutely love it!
The crew is always very good, the food is to die for, the cabins are very clean and large enough if you have to share with someone. There are different spaces where you can relax or sunbathe on the boat, the stops in the different bays are always beautiful and you can go on the land for short excursions in cute villages or climb a hill for a sunset!
Already looking forward to my 3rd trip next year!
