Itinerary
Boarding takes place at 11:00 in Marmaris Harbour, where the crew welcomes you aboard and the journey begins. Once everyone is settled, the gulet slips out of the marina and heads towards the pine-covered shores of Paradise Island (Cennet Adası), just outside the bay. The calm turquoise water here makes it a perfect first swim stop and an easy introduction to life on the sea.
Later in the afternoon, we continue south along the coastline to Kumlubük, a wide, sheltered bay known for its clear water and peaceful setting. If you feel like stretching your legs, there’s the option to walk up to the ancient ruins of Amos, where the views across the bay are spectacular.
The evening is spent anchored in the bay, with dinner served on board and plenty of time to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the coast as the sun sets over the water.
This morning, we cruise along the coastline to the peaceful waters of Ekincik Bay, a quiet inlet surrounded by forested hills. Once anchored, you can spend the day swimming, snorkelling, or relaxing on board while enjoying the calm surroundings of the bay.
For those looking to explore further, an optional Dalyan river excursion is available. A small riverboat takes you through winding reed channels to Turtle Beach (İztuzu), passing the famous Lycian rock tombs carved high into the cliffs. Along the way, you’ll also have a stop at Dalyan’s world-famous mineral mud baths, a fun and memorable stop on the journey.
In the evening, we return to the gulet for dinner on board while the colours of sunset settle over the quiet waters of Ekincik Bay.
Today is dedicated to exploring the beautiful islands scattered across the Göcek Bay. The morning begins at Tersane Island, once used as a historic shipyard, where you can swim and snorkel above the remains of old stone walls beneath the clear water.
From here the gulet continues to Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after the famous Turkish artist who painted a distinctive fish figure on the rock face overlooking the bay. The calm turquoise water makes it another perfect stop for swimming.
Later in the day we visit Cleopatra’s Bath, a sheltered bay where the ruins of an ancient bathhouse lie partly beneath the sea. According to legend, this was a romantic gift from Marc Antony to Cleopatra, and today it remains one of the most atmospheric swim spots along the coast.
By early evening, we dock near the stylish harbour town of Göcek, where you can enjoy strolling along the waterfront, eat local meze at a seaside café, and spend the evening in the laid-back atmosphere of this elegant sailing town.
Today we sail deeper into the beautiful waters of Fethiye Bay. Our first stop is Kızılada, the small island that marks the entrance to the gulf and is famous for its lighthouse and clear turquoise water. It’s a perfect place for a relaxed swim and some time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings before the journey continues.
From here the gulet heads to Tarzan Bay, one of the most fun swim spots in the area, known for its rope swings and deep blue water. It’s the ideal place for a final swim, a bit of sunbathing on deck and a few last photos from your Sail Turkey adventure.
In the early evening, we sail into Fethiye Harbour and dock at the marina. Guests can head ashore to explore the town, enjoy dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants and celebrate the end of the journey with drinks along Fethiye’s lively bar street.
Morning arrives gently in Fethiye Marina, with the harbour slowly coming to life around the gulet. After breakfast on board, it’s time to gather your belongings and say farewell to the crew and the friends you’ve made along the way.
Your journey along the Turquoise Coast ends here in Fethiye. Some travellers continue exploring the town’s markets and Amintas rock tombs, while others head off towards new destinations, but the memories of our Turkey sailing tour with spectacular bays and island stops and life at sea usually travel home with you.

It's my second year doing a sailing cruise with Gulet Cruises and I absolutely love it!
The crew is always very good, the food is to die for, the cabins are very clean and large enough if you have to share with someone. There are different spaces where you can relax or sunbathe on the boat, the stops in the different bays are always beautiful and you can go on the land for short excursions in cute villages or climb a hill for a sunset!
Already looking forward to my 3rd trip next year!
